We are very excited about being able to provide more information about our union, more news and developments, and greater member interaction through this media. Our purpose is to utilize this space to inform our members, other workers in our industries, interested contractors and owners, and the general public about our programs and operations.

District Council 82 is an organization of approximately 3400 members existing in eight different Local Unions.

District Council 82 is a very aggressive council that specializes in highly skilled training. Our 45,000 square foot training center, (located in Little Canada Minnesota) is a state of the art facility. We are committed to serving the interests of our members and those unrepresented workers who hope to join. Organize the unorganized has been our mission statement We are determined to continue this trend to ensure that we maintain the best wages and benefits in our industries. Our mission is also to represent our members for purposes of collective bargaining, to organize workers in a variety of occupations, and to advocate for workers and their families.
